An outlier is someone different from the others, stands out from the crowd and makes a big contribution to the world. eg Bill Gates or Mother Theresa.
As Christians we can feel like outsiders. We don’t fit. Actually, we DON’T fit. We ARE different and that’s a GOOD thing.
When Peter wrote his letter 1 Peter the Christians were being heavily persecuted. They felt like outsiders. They were outsiders But so much more they were outliers. Different? Yes! But with a big difference to make.
