General Election 2019

Burlington welcomes MP candidates

The General Election is due to take place on Thursday 12th December 2019. Burlington has therefore invited each candidate from the top five political parties in Ipswich to join us at one of our main celebrations at Burlington Baptist Church, London Road, Ipswich, IP1 2EZ . The service starts at 10:45am, services normally end at around 12:15pm.

Our senior minister, Rev.Simon Harris, will be interviewing them as part of the morning, and the candidates will be available afterwards to meet with us over tea and coffee. Recordings of the interviews will be made available below.

Burlington is not interested in being party-political but is committed to constructive engagement and active involvement in society based on the life-changing values of Jesus. We welcome this opportunity to meet and support those seeking to serve in public life.”

Simon Harris, Senior Minister
