REGULAR GATHERINGS

Sundays

Sunday Celebrations In Person - 10:45am at Burlington

From Sunday 25th July, we will move our Sunday celebrations in the building back to the usual time of 10:45am. We are thrilled to be able to offer Youth and Kids provision and coffee after the celebration. The service will be shorter than usual and typical of our summer Sundays. Masks are no longer a legal requirement (see below), there will be no need to pre-book and we will be able to sing in worship together again. Everyone is very welcome.

Whilst restrictions are lifted we have a responsibility to protect one another. To help with this we would encourage everyone to:

  • Sanitise their hands on entry to the building
  • Wear a face mask whilst moving around the building especially in confined places such as the Welcome Area (similar to what we have become accustomed to in restaurants). Remember your mask protects others not you.
  • Come early so as to avoid congestion before the service
  • All entry and exits to the building (including the old church doors on London Road) will be open. You can enter & exit either way.
  • Choosing seating further away from the entrance/exits will help others coming after you to fill up the space more easily.
  • The pews on the far side of the building beyond the left aisle will be marked for socially distanced seating. If using those pews please sit only at either end and leave the pews marked “no entry” empty. Also remember that there is loads of spacious seating upstairs where social distance can easily be maintained.
  • Be aware and thoughtful. Not everyone will want to fist bump, shake hands or hug. And that’s fine.

If you would like more information about coming back to the building please contact us on info@burlington.church and someone will give you a ring back.
